Auto refresh mode allows you to specify delay between image renewals.
At any time you can save snap-shot of the current remote desktop screen as file in BMP format.
You can make video from a set of images of another desktop.
Viewing of remote computer desktop can be password protected.
Therefore no one will be able to access to monitoring information without your acceptance.

Remote Desktop Inspector architecture:
Remote Desktop Inspector consists of two separate components - Grabber (DIGrabber.exe) and Viewer (DesktopInspector.exe).
Grabber component is responsible for grabbing current user desktop and for sending it to Viewer.
It starts up automatically after user logon. No special configuration needed for Grabber.
Grabber must be installed on each computer that you want to monitor.
Viewer must be installed on your (monitoring) computer only.
This is the component that will show you another desktop.
